Beginning Young

Instilling healthy habits at a young age is the best way to keep a beatiful smile. Your child's first visit should be scheduled in the first 6-12 months of their life. During this visit you can expect to learn what to expect to see developing in your child's mouth and how to best care for their incoming teeth. Your child should come for the same schedule of routine check ups every six months.

Once teeth erupt, we will educate you on the best methods of brushing and flossing. This way you and your child can work together to optimally maintain their oral health.

Once necessary dental x-rays will be taken, prophylactic cleanings will be performed, and painless fillings can be placed if needed. Although your child's first set of teeth eventually fall out, it is still important to keep these teeth clean and healthy. This way your child will develop good habits to best care for their adult teeth when they grow in.

Comprehensive

Family Care

No matter the current state of your teeth, doing yourself the service of visiting the dentist is of great importance. We want to help you maintain a beautiful smile and a healthy mouth. In order to do this, upon the first DenTull visit we will perform a comprehensive exam.

This includes necessary x-rays, visually evaluating the health of the gum tissue and teeth, along with performing an intra-oral and extra-oral head and neck exam (including cancer screening). Any abnormal findings are discussed and addressed. By eliminating risk factors and addressing current issues, we are able to reduce the likelihood of tooth loss or decay.

Cleanings

To help prolong the life of every tooth in your mouth, we suggest coming in for routine dental prophylactic cleanings every six months. By coming in for these routine visits we can stop any disease processes in the mouth before they get the chance to become a greater problem.

We understand some people are uncomfortable at the dentist's office, and some are so weighed down by the stresses of life that they do not have the time to make these routine visits. For this reason we aim to make our office a place where you can relax, enjoy yourself, and get excited about how amazing your teeth really are!
